For boys and girls aged 10.5 to 14.5 Years
Our thriving Scout section enjoys a wide variety of activities in a balanced programme leading to the key Scouting Awards.
Summers are spent outdoors as much as possible including games, hikes, barbecues and of course, camping. Popular winter activities include wide games, first aid training, quizzes, dry-slope skiing, cooking and theatre visits.
We also take part in many District and County organised activities including water sports, and a variety of competitions. We also actively encourage the Scouts to pursue badges and awards and to present their own interests to the rest of the Troop.
Our busy jumble sales provide valuable fundraising opportunities, and our Scouts can also be found bag-packing at Sainsbury's or helping at our church's events.
From the age of 14 Scouts can move on to Explorers to continue their Scouting adventure.
We have a dedicated leadership but are actively seeking the involvement of returning andpotential new Adult Leaders & Young Leaders.

The Troop takes up to around 25 Scouts and maintains a waiting list. Please contact us to be added to the list.
